The other day, “Bryce”:http://www.soldierant.net, “Matt”:http://www.leacock.com and I played until around 12:30 a.m. Now, it should be noted that Bryce is from Ohio, so that translates to 3:30 am for him, but he was in town (that is the SF Bay Area) on business. He and Matt were playing from Matt’s house. The next day, I was IMing with Matt, who coined the new phrase, “Halo Hangover.”
It’s funny that recently I’ve been “contemplating”:http://www.sonofapigfarmer.com/archives/2004/12/word_of_the_yea.html on how technologies can make the world seem a bit smaller. This week alone, I’ve kept in touch (and by keeping in touch I mean blowing each other up with rocket launchers and frag grenades) with people in Seattle and Ohio. I still suck a lot at it, but it’s a lot of fun.
Today, Bryce blogged an entry about how Halo 2 and XBOX may be affecting broadband infrastructure and how this practice can negatively affect productivity.

Lance…I didn’t know you had other friends out here in the east! Bryce, I salute you my cold climate comrade.
