Wow. It’s officially a pissing contest. At a loss of how to respond to Yahoo!’s barrage of recent attacks, Google, riddled with bullets, announces that they are doubling their mail storage on G-Mail to 2GB.
This is the multi-million dollar equivilent of a schoolyard argument, where the student at a loss for words says, “Na uh!”
True enough, Yahoo! sometimes reacts in much the same way, but this particular exchange (or at least the timing of this one) is so lopsided.

It’s GMail’s birthday dude. I don’t think it’s a pissing contest(but you WOULD know better, honestly), I think they’re just doing their thang by increasing their space. They’re also allowing rich text as well.

Alright. I may have jumped the gun a bit. They are doing a bit more than simply increasing storage space. But it’s still pretty lopsided.
